How To Drink More Water In 2022

There is nothing more valuable than being healthy in body and mind. Even the greatest fortune cannot compete with the ability to enjoy life with a healthy body. Where does health start? A healthy body starts with plenty of water intake.

Today, we are going to give you some important tips to help you drink more water in 2022 for a healthier mind and body.

Give water a bit of taste

Some people don’t like drinking water because they feel it has no taste and ruins their meals. If you dislike the tasteless aspect of water, you can try infusing it with lemon or fresh herbs. Maybe try a bit of orange or any other refreshing fruit you like.  Cucumber slices are also a possible addition.  Just be sure to keep any flavor additives light.

A good rule of thumb is: if the water starts to change color, you added too much fruit to it.  So keep the flavoring very light; add just enough to give the water a little bit of taste.

It’s also possible to give it an even more powerful spin.

You can use Seltzer if you want to give the water more “personality”.  This will not have an adverse effect on the health results you get from the water. Just don’t make this a habit for every glass of water you drink.

Sporadically adding Seltzer is ideal for lunch and dinner when you want a beverage that has some punch to it, but don’t want extra calories.

Carry a water bottle with you

Ultimately, any water bottle is going to be fine, but if you really want to have cool water in a bottle that is durable and safe, you should look for one that is made of stainless steel and insulated. I always carry my Kool8 water bottle with me.

This is the best bottle I have ever purchased for ease of carrying water and keeping it cool for a long time. To encourage yourself to drink more water, it helps if you always keep a water bottle with you and that the bottle keeps your water at the best possible temperature.  It is definitely worth the investment. Note that Kool8 was also recently named one of the top water bottles for hiking in America

Use mobile apps to monitor your water intake

You can make the process of drinking a certain amount of water every day fun. There are plenty of applications that allow you to keep track of how much water you have consumed each day. If you search around in both the Apple store and Google play, you can find numerous options by typing “water tracking” in the search engine.

Some recommendations include Drink Water Reminder and Waterlogged. There are plenty more options, too.  Many of them include cool features that can make the simple act of drinking water more enjoyable.

Get others involved

Get other members of your family and even friends involved in this. The more people around you who start to replace other beverages with water, the easier it is for all of you to get used to this change.

When any kind of diet or lifestyle change takes place, support from others who are doing the same thing is very important. This is not to say you can’t do it alone. Most people achieve their lifestyle goals and changes on their own, but a supportive friend can keep you on track in a helpful way and make the process more pleasant.

Eat that water!

Yes, if you feel that drinking more water is not ideal for you, there is always the possibility of eating much of that water. This can come from fruits such as watermelon, or vegetables such as lettuce, cucumbers, and celery.

Be creative and you will find many other ways to ensure you intake plenty of water.  Just make sure you are not using any unhealthy or sugary products for this because such products would be useless for health purposes.

Remember it’s all for your health

Never forget that your health will suffer every time you choose a soda can over a water bottle. Every time you drink water, you are giving your body the gift of health. This is extremely valuable. And if you really want to spice things up, consider adding natural supplements to your diet.

If you ever feel that you are having problems with this process, just remember that the longer you drink water and use it to replace other beverages, the easier this transition becomes.
